Solido Design Automation Included As Chamber of Commerce 2017 SABEX Finalist

After taking home two of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce’s Saskatoon Awards for Business Excellence (SABEX) last year, Two Fifty Two Boutique is poised for a repeat in 2017.

Mackenzie Firby’s Willowgrove clothing store is nominated in the SABEX community involvement and customer service categories. Last year, it won the customer service and new business venture awards.

Nominees for the awards — which span categories from growth and expansion to new product or service — were announced Thursday at a news conference.

Two Saskatoon technology companies, Vendasta Technologies Inc. and Solido Design Automation Inc., led the pack with three nominations each, including both earning a nomination for business of the year.

The awards, which are designed to celebrate local enterprise and decided by a panel of anonymous judges, will be handed out at Prairieland Park on Feb. 9.
