GOLDEN OPPORTUNITIES ADDS BUSINESS LEADERS TO BOARD

Golden Opportunities Fund Inc. is pleased to announce at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders dated January 5, 2007 the shareholders approved the addition of two new private sector board members, leaders in their respective communities with a wealth of business experience.

Mr. Ron Waldman is President and Chief Executive Officer of Great Western Brewing Company Limited in Saskatoon since 1994 which was chosen as one of “Canada’s 50 Best managed Companies” in 2004 and 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Waldman worked in the area of corporate finance and management consultant with KPMG in Saskatoon.

Mr. Tom Shepherd is the Senior Vice President of Dundee Realty Corporation responsible for the Land and Housing Operations of Dundee Developments and Homes in Regina. Mr. Shepherd was employed with Clarkson, Gordon & Co. where he obtained his Chartered Accountant Designation and was an Audit Manager.
