Philom Bios Announces Election of Board of Directors for 2006

SASKATOON, SK — Philom Bios is pleased to announce the election of the following Directors at our most recent Annual General Meeting on February 14, 2006: Mr. John Cross, Chairman, Mr. John Becherer, Mr. Wayne Brownlee, Ms. Beverley Brennan, Mr. Gordon Froehlich, Mr. Rod Merryweather, Mr. Richard Stegmann, Mr. Rod Weins, and Mr. Greg Yuel. Eight of these Directors have served on the Board in the past. However, the Company is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Gordon Froehlich as our newest Board Director.

Mr. Cross comments, “With a solid history in strategic roles in agriculture and biotechnology, Mr. Froehlich brings broad and relevant knowledge and experience to the Philom Bios Board. We look forward to his added strength and his insights to help grow the Company.”

Mr. Froehlich, who resides in Manitoba, owns a Life Science and Agri Business Consultancy practice. He is also Vice President, Business Development for Genesys Ventures Inc., a technology-based business incubation company, and serves in a senior capacity with certain other health technology companies. Mr. Froehlich formerly was employed in key market and business development positions with Monsanto, a seed and bio-technology company.
