Golden Opportunities Fund Inc. is pleased to report sales for the 2005 RRSP season continued the record breaking trend experienced by the Fund in every year since its inception. Golden Opportunities Fund achieved new fund sales of approximately $17 million, a 62% increase over the same period last year of $10.5 million. This year’s increase in RRSP sales takes the Fund’s overall capitalization to approximately $62 million and a shareholder base of 10,000 Saskatchewan residents.

Grant Kook, CEO and Chairman of the Fund indicates “we are extremely pleased with this year’s sales results as they confirm that the market reacts to performance and is in agreement with the strategic investments we have been making.” This marks the seventh consecutive RRSP season that Golden Opportunities has achieved increased sales over its previous year and the fourth consecutive year that Golden Opportunities Fund has been the #1 selling Labour Sponsored Fund in Saskatchewan. Based on initial industry figures, Golden Opportunities has increased their share of the Saskatchewan Labour Fund market to approximately 63%.
