Octane Announces Appointment of CFO

CALGARY, June 10 /CNW/ – Octane Energy Services Ltd. (TSX-V:OES) announced today the appointment of Debora L. Rice as VP Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Octane. Ms. Rice is a financial management professional with over 20 years of experience in cost accounting, financial control, cost benefit analysis, contract administration, financial reporting, benchmarking and internal control systems. Ms. Rice is a Certified General Accountant and belongs to the CGA Association of Alberta. She is a former member of the Accounting Advisory Committee of Mount Royal College. Ms. Rice brings to Octane a detailed knowledge of accounting regulations, policies and procedures and has experience with oil and gas production, energy services, fabrication and mechanical businesses. Ms. Rice most recently spent five years at Nexen Inc. (formerly Canadian Occidental Petroleum Ltd.) involved in planning, joint ventures, acquisitions and system implementation both in Canada and in Yemen.
