VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(CCNMatthews – Nov. 29, 2005) – VCom Inc. (TSX:VCM), a world leading designer and manufacturer of advanced broadband products, is pleased to announce that it has won the BC Export Award for 2005, in the category of Advancing Technologies. The Advancing Technologies Award recognizes a company that has effectively harnessed the powers of intellectual property and value-added know-how.

Award recipients were announced at the 2005 BC Export Awards Gala Luncheon on Friday, November 25 in Vancouver before an audience of fellow exporters, business leaders and government officials. The event was co-hosted by the Government of British Columbia and the BC Division of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters.

“This award recognizes VCom as a strong player in the international exporting market,” said Dr. Surinder Kumar, VCom’s President and CEO. “To accommodate growing demand, we expanded our international presence this year opening an Asia-Pacific Regional Sales Headquarters to provide business development, marketing, sales and support functions to current and prospective customers in the region.”

VCom’s sales outside of Canada were CND $48.5 million for the 12 months ended June 30, 2005, representing 77% of total revenue.
